Kitchen Assistant - Chartwells

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to be a vital part of our team at Chartwells. This is a part-time role, contracted for 20 hours per week, with opportunities for growth within a company that values individuality and rewards dedication.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday: Mornings
• Saturday and Sunday: Flexible

Please note: This role is contracted for 43 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality, delicious food that delights our clients and customers
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Use machinery and equipment correctly and safely
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and supplies
• Represent Chartwells positively to uphold our brand image
• Follow Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
• Manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively
• Work well as part of a team
• Be organized, reliable, and committed to success
• Show flexibility with shift patterns
