Job Responsibilities:

To organise and supervise the unit in accordance with standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland, the contract specification, and statutory regulations. Responsible for the efficient management of the unit, ensuring quality service, overseeing food preparation, cooking, and service to standards, and making optimal use of resources including stock, staff, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide and manage the team strategically
• Previous contract catering experience required
• Effective communication, motivation, and guidance to management and staff
• Responsibility for food safety and health & safety procedures
• Regular communication with the client
• Implement action plans post customer satisfaction surveys
• Promote the unit and act as a Compass Group advocate
• Manage stakeholders effectively
• Ensure hospitality standards are met and seek feedback
• Identify opportunities for service enhancement
• Inject innovation and flair
• Operate within budget, monitor trends, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Deliver customer requirements to expectations
