Do you have previous digital pre-print experience? Are you looking to be part of a growing team with opportunities for career progression? If so, this role might be perfect for you!

PLEASE NOTE - This role will start on a part-time basis, with the potential to transition to full-time as production demands increase.

Tech Merchandise is an established UK trade supplier of creative, promotional merchandise, specializing in the manufacture and supply of unique, high-quality corporate promotional tech products.

As they continue to expand, they are seeking a UV Digital Print Operator to oversee and lead print operations.

Your responsibilities will include setting up, proofing, and preparing work for digital production printing, ensuring the highest standards of quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all work is completed within set deadlines and prepare digital print files for variable production printing.
2. Assist with print production when workload permits.
3. Operate digital production print machinery to a high standard within the digital print area.
4. Develop a working knowledge of production printers and RIPs used in digital printing.
5. Manage data submissions of print files and customer data via mail merge and FTP applications.
6. Maintain and organize image files across production printer RIPs.
7. Provide technical advice to Account Handlers.
8. Conduct validation checks during print runs and apply quality assurance techniques.
9. Document processes and exceptions for team coverage during absences.
10. Manage stock counts and documentation.
11. Log and oversee printer maintenance and servicing.
12. Train team members as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in digital pre-print.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and VersaWorks.
• Strong PC literacy.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Calm, organized, customer-focused, positive, and flexible.
• Ability to manage fast-paced periods, self-motivated, and helpful during quieter times.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Roland printers.
