Job description

Upon joining this company, who are one of the UK’s largest independent insurance brokers, you will assist in their continued growth and success by servicing your own portfolio of commercial insurance clients. You will build relationships, act as the first point of contact for clients, answer queries, and provide professional advice while handling new and existing commercial insurance risks, quotations, renewals, MTA’s, etc.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deal with new and existing commercial insurance risks including motor, property, EL, PL, commercial combined, business interruption, etc.
  • Provide quotations and renewals, deal with MTA’s, market submissions, presentations, etc.
  • Work independently, with the wider team, and alongside Account Executives.
  • Attend networking and conference events.
  • Build strong insurer and client relationships.
  • Ensure Acturis records remain compliant and up to date.
  • Work with clients to design and tailor bespoke insurance programmes to match their commercial insurance needs.

Experience:

  • Track record of handling commercial insurance risks in excess of £10,000 income.
  • Solid understanding of products including motor, property, EL, PL, business interruption, haulage, PI, etc.
  • Confident in building relationships and negotiating with insurers and clients.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Acturis experience would be preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
