Remuneration: £40,000 neg + bonus

The role of the Estimator / Project Manager – Architectural Stonework will involve:

1. Dealing with a high quality manufactured range of architectural stonework such as facades, cladding, wall dressings, window dressings, balustrades, landscaping & paving
2. Liaising with architects, specifiers, main contractors, sub-contractors, and private end users
3. Reviewing drawings and gaining an understanding of projects/requirements
4. Producing quotes & take offs from architectural drawings
5. Producing CAD designs / drawings relevant to the project
6. Managing the process from enquiry through to completion
7. Working on projects varying in size from £10k to £250k

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator / Project Manager – Architectural Stonework with:

1. Experience within the construction industry, ideally within the building envelope or architectural stonework market sectors
2. The ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
3. Experience in a technical role such as Designer, Architectural Technologist, Architectural Technician, Estimator, Draughtsman, CAD Technician, Project Manager or Project Coordinator
4. AutoCAD experience (ideally)
5. Strong relationship-building skills
6. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
7. IT literate (Microsoft Office)
