We are seeking an Occupational Therapist interested in working with young people (up to 18 years) with mental health and neurodevelopmental issues. Based in West CAMHS, West Centre, you will deliver Occupational Therapy services within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in mental health or paediatrics is desirable but not essential; a passion for working in this area is key. The role aims to extend a well-established Occupational Therapy service.
You will be supported by a Specialist Occupational Therapist and be part of a growing CAMHS Occupational Therapy Team. Your responsibilities include assessing young people's mental health issues, offering individual and group interventions (e.g., SPARKS, RTA, Creative), and supporting student placements.
We provide an induction with Occupational Therapy and multidisciplinary input, access to CPD, regular supervision, and opportunities for reflective practice and evidence-based interventions. Peer supervision sessions are also developing.
Applicants should demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, be HCPC registered, and have relevant transferable experience. This role may suit those seeking a career change or their first Occupational Therapy position.
