Automation Technician

Adecco are proud to be working with an expanding company who are seeking an Automation Technician.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 p/a

Duration of contract: Permanent

Location: Basildon

Duties:

1. Designing PLC based electrical control systems from design specifications.
2. Programming PLC, touchscreen and safety configurable relay systems.
3. Configuring remote I/O, servo motor and inverter drives.
4. Integrating ancillary equipment into the production lines such as vision systems.
5. Fault finding electrical control systems, PLC, and hardwired systems.
6. Commissioning, support, and service work at customers' sites.

Skills:

1. PLC Programming Experience.
2. Good understanding of SCADA Systems.
3. Engineering qualification.
