Job Description
Overseeing the creation and implementation of financial policies
Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts
Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and liaising with auditors
Monitoring cash flow and preparing forecasts
Evaluating financial performance and making appropriate recommendations
Providing financial advice and support to project managers
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
Contributing to the development of the organisation's strategic financial objectives
The Successful Applicant
A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector
Strong knowledge of financial systems and procedures and Excel
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance colleagues
