What you'll be doing:

To organise and supervise the unit in accordance with and to the standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland, the contract specification, and statutory regulations. Responsible for the overall efficient management of the unit, providing a quality service. Oversee the preparation, cooking, and service of food to standards and specifications. Ensure efficient use of resources, including stock, team members, and assets.

Who you are:

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide guidance and strategic management through your team.
• Previous contract catering experience.
• Communicate, motivate, and guide your management team and catering staff daily. Set responsibilities and monitor performance.
• Take responsibility for food and health & safety procedures.
• Communicate regularly with the client.
• Complete action plans based on customer satisfaction surveys.
• Promote the unit and act as a Compass Group advocate.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
• Ensure hospitality standards are met and seek feedback.
• Identify opportunities to develop services and discuss with line manager.
• Bring innovation and flair.
• Operate within the budget, monitor trends, and take corrective actions if needed.
• Deliver customer requirements aligned with expectations.
