Once For All is a high-growth, cloud-based, SaaS subscription business. Our technology helps our customers to manage their supply chain governance, risk management, and compliance. We work across the public and private sectors and have over 250k customers across the UK, spanning 20 different sectors including construction, transport, retail, hospitality, education, facility and property management, manufacturing, and local and central government.

Role Summary

The Strategic Schemes development team within Once For All is responsible for delivering a SaaS platform across multiple sectors to Tier 1 clients in the UK’s largest industries. Our .NET Webforms application is used by around 25,000 companies worldwide, hosted on Microsoft Servers in IIS, with a MS SQL database and several supporting .NET APIs and services.

We are seeking an experienced software developer to continue delivering new functionality to this platform, maintain ongoing technical support, and provide our clients with a best-in-class software experience. The successful candidate will participate in developing and monitoring new features, maintaining quality documentation, and ensuring high standards across software monitoring and support.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

• Proven experience writing high-quality software that adds desired functionality for clients and products.
• Experience conducting code reviews and refactoring existing code into a scalable N-tier architecture.
• Participation in agile ceremonies alongside team members.
• Experience with scheduling and releasing production deployments using CI/CD pipelines.
• Multiple years of experience using C# for web application development, ideally with Webforms, along with HTML/CSS proficiency.
• Experience working with, integrating with, and creating REST APIs.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server and TSQL, outside of ORM usage.
• Experience with Unit Testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of application hosting on IIS servers.
• Understanding of design patterns and principles, and the ability to apply them appropriately.
• Ability to create technical specifications and estimates.
• Incident management experience and ownership of issues from inception to resolution.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Geneos, Grafana, Azure Monitor, etc.
• Ability to prioritize business needs based on SLAs.
• Mentoring experience with junior developers.
