Engineering Supervisor (Electrical Bias)

Location: Uxbridge
Salary: Up to £54,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

A client of ours is looking for an Engineering Supervisor with an Electrical bias to join their team at a prestigious food & beverage industry site in Uxbridge. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team of engineers while maintaining a balance of hands-on and supervisory responsibilities (70% off the tools, 30% on the tools).

Job Responsibilities for an Engineering Supervisor:

1. Lead and Manage: Oversee a team of engineers, ensuring effective delivery of planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
2. Support Operations: Act as the first point of contact for technical issues, providing guidance and support.
3. Hands-On Work: Participate in maintenance and repair tasks as required, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
4. Compliance: Ensure all work complies with statutory regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
5. Communication: Liaise with the client and internal stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and efficient workflows.

Qualifications/Experience required for an Engineering Supervisor:

1. Essential Qualifications: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and AM2 qualification.
2. Experience: Proven track record in electrical maintenance and team supervision.
3. Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
4. Problem-Solving Ability: Proactive and solution-focused approach to technical challenges.
5. Strong Communication Skills: Both written and verbal, for client and team interactions.
