The opportunity has arisen for a Fabricator to join an industry leader in the UK's Building Services sector. Our client designs, develops, and delivers a wide range of offsite-prefabricated, innovative, and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Europe.

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Fabricators to fabricate a range of pipe arrangements supporting a team of skilled welders. The ability to produce TIG welds for assembly purposes is required, with opportunities for the successful candidates to develop their skills in various welding disciplines and in-house welding procedures.

Mon - Thurs

Key Responsibilities

• Read and fully understand the pipe fabrication drawings for each project.
• Fabricate pipe sets for various pipe diameters from shop drawings.
• Ensure Company H&S Processes are followed.
• Operate TIG welding equipment.
• Use precision measurement instruments.
• Use metal cutting and grinding equipment.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum of 3 years' experience operating as an established TIG fabricator, including Pipe Fabrication.
• Ability to interpret welding procedure requirements.
• Proficient in using shop floor hand tools like grinders, hand plasmas, etc.
• Confident in understanding shop fabrication and assembly drawings.

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience as a pipe fabricator producing a wide range of pipe arrangements with TIG/MAG and MMA welding.
• Experience within a heavy fabrication, architectural steelwork, or welding environment.
