Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a newly-qualified auditor to join a Top 15 firm of chartered accountants in Reading, Berkshire as an Assistant Manager. Our client is a market-leading firm in Berkshire with a fantastic reputation and ability to offer some of the best client exposure across corporates, not-for-profits, listed businesses and international businesses. As an Audit Assistant Manager, your typical daily duties will include:

  1. Leading audits with the support of a fantastic team around you
  2. Control each assignment, ensuring that they meet agreed budget and timeline
  3. Managing the audit team whilst on site to ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard and all queries are resolved with the client satisfactorily where possible
  4. Guide and supervise more junior members of staff
  5. Accounts preparation in line with the firm's procedures
  6. Other ad-hoc consultancy assignments

Requirements:

  1. ACA/ ACCA qualified or nearly qualified.
  2. Extensive audit experience, working within a Practice environment.
  3. Confident and comfortable providing exceptional client service and delivery.
  4. Team player who wants to join a 'family' of like-minded individuals.
  5. A dynamic approach - adapts quickly to change and can find smart ways to deliver the best results.
