Our client is a large hospitality brand within the Leisure / Travel / Tourism industry. With an HQ in Hertfordshire, their legal team requires additional support in the compliance space.

Job Description

The Interim Compliance Officer will be responsible for:

• Overseeing and monitoring compliance within the organisation
• Implementing and managing the compliance programme
• Advising management on the company's compliance with laws and regulations
• Assessing company operations to determine compliance risk
• Managing all AML matters
• Advising on all Anti-bribery & corruption (ABC)
• Ensuring all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes
• Responding to compliance issues as they arise
• Preparing and presenting reports to management

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Compliance Officer should have:

• A thorough understanding of regulatory compliance with expert knowledge of AML & Anti-bribery & corruption (ABC)
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
• A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills
• A proactive approach and the ability to handle pressure
