Job Description
The Finance Business Partner will:
Develop, manage and maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders
Develop and maintain good understanding of allocated business model (incl. activities, challenges and objectives)
Develop and promote the Finance Business Partnering function by increasing awareness and understanding of financial policies, processes and controls across the organisation
Ensure compliance and good governance with financial regulations and accounting standards
Provide timely advice on the preparation of proposals and tenders from financial perspective, identifying and quantifying associated costs, benefits and risks
Provide strong financial analysis and insights that link financial management reports to the business strategy
Analyse, interpret and communicate financial and performance data
Co-ordinate the development of financial plans for allocated stakeholders
Prepare indicative budgets for stakeholders
Provide timely and accurate information, financial guidance and advice to Project Managers and Budget Holders to allow effective budget management
Financial management of projects including claim preparation and invoicing, monitoring and analysis
Analyse, interpret and communicate monthly financial reports
Produce accurate financial forecasts and plans identifying, quantifying, where possible, and highlighting potential opportunities and risks.
Lead the preparation and execution of external project audits
The Successful Applicant
The Finance Business Partner will be/have:
Experience of supporting effective financial management and reporting
Experience in a similar role
Computer literate with excellent Excel skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders
