Established Accountancy Practice - Epsom - Payroller & Bookkeeper

Your new company

A leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Surrey.

Your new role

Your role will be varied and will include a mixture of payroll & bookkeeping with duties including:

  1. Preparing payroll for our clients
  2. Accurately input payroll data into the payroll software
  3. Deducting tax and national insurance payments
  4. Calculate Statutory Maternity Pay, Shared Parental Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay and Statutory Sick Pay
  5. Processing holiday, sick and maternity pay and expenses
  6. Issuing P45's and other tax forms
  7. Dealing with HMRC
  8. Auto enrolment pension deductions
  9. General bookkeeping for clients using Xero, Sage & QuickBooks
  10. Maintaining accurate records and managing deadlines efficiently
  11. Assisting with VAT returns and other compliance requirements
  12. Providing support to clients with Xero and other accounting software
  13. Assisting with Management Accounts

What you'll need to succeed

You will have proven payroll and bookkeeping experience as well as excellent communication and IT skills.
