We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join a team for our clients within the South Belfast Area.

Excellent success rate with securing permanent roles.

Our Client provides excellent induction and training for the role, with the vision to progress and succeed within the organisation. This is a supported living service, where the values of choice, inclusion, and opportunity are incorporated to enhance the quality of life for individuals within the local and wider community. You will support a diverse range of disabilities, from minimal to complex support, depending on the person-centred care plan.

Hourly Rate £12.60 with enhanced overtime rate

Duties
  • Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients with meal preparation and ensure their nutritional needs are met.
  • Assist in behaviour management strategies to promote positive interactions and well-being.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a caring environment.
  • Administer first aid as necessary and assist with medication management under supervision.
  • Engage in activities that stimulate cognitive function, particularly for clients with dementia care needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in care/support setting or personal caring responsibilities.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal, numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • 3-week rolling rota with 1 out of 3 weekends off.
  • Flexibility to fulfill the role and rota requirements.
