We are seeking a Graduate Apprentice to support the IDG Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) department at the University of Warwick. The role involves providing technical assistance, supporting infrastructure, and contributing to IT projects, with a focus on developing skills in cloud and network management. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, infrastructure improvements, and ensuring seamless IT services across the university. The apprenticeship includes training and development to foster a highly skilled IT professional in a dynamic environment.
The post holder will be sponsored to undertake further study leading to a Level 4 or Level 7 qualification in one of the following:
Level 7 qualifications include MSc in Digital and Technology or BSc (Hons) Digital & Technology Solutions. The specific level and topic will depend on the candidate’s previous education and experience, and the team assignment.
You should be an enthusiastic, organized, and self-disciplined individual with strong communication skills and a focus on customer service. You should be detail-oriented, calm under pressure, team-oriented, eager to learn new technologies, flexible, analytical, and capable of troubleshooting and decision-making.
