Job description

Gemporia, established in 2004, is a British live television and online jewellery retailer sourcing gemstones globally. Since late 2017, we have proudly become an employee-owned company and are continually expanding our successful team.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join Team Kimbie, our in-house homewares brand, which we are preparing to launch into the market. This role involves creating content for the brand, primarily focusing on home fragrance products such as candles and diffusers. The candidate will be responsible for presenting and self-producing livestreams, a new venture for us. Additionally, pre-recorded content will be crucial for daily content creation, mainly targeting TikTok Lives, while also engaging with influencers and affiliates to boost the brand's presence in the homewares market.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Presenting and producing TikTok and other livestreams to increase brand awareness and sales.
  2. Preparing products and content to maximize views and attract new customers.
  3. Planning, creating, and editing content for TikTok and other social media platforms.
  4. Engaging with customers, viewers, ambassadors, and influencers to build a community and encourage repeat business.
  5. Managing TikTok Seller Centre and Business Suite to analyze insights and improve performance.
  6. Collaborating with customer service and other departments to enhance the user experience and operational efficiency.
  7. Analyzing data related to organic and e-commerce activities on TikTok to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
  8. Working with the Kimbie team to develop and implement TikTok growth strategies.
  9. Identifying and collaborating with key influencers and affiliates to promote the brand.
  10. Supporting the creation of pre-recorded content and modeling tasks.

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. Outgoing and engaging personality with strong improvisation and communication skills; presenter/producer experience is a plus but not essential.
  2. Experience with social media platforms, especially TikTok Seller Centre and Business Suite.
  3. Proficiency in videography, video, and audio editing.
  4. Knowledge or interest in the homewares market or retail industry is desirable.
  5. Passion for homewares and lifestyle topics is a plus.

Location: Our studios and offices are based in Redditch, Worcestershire, B98 9HF. Candidates must be able to travel comfortably to this location.

Salary: Dependent on experience.

Working Hours: Part-time or full-time options available.
