Project Engineer Opportunity - EfW Company, Surrey

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join a leading EfW company based in Surrey as a Project Engineer. Our client is seeking someone with at least two years of project engineering experience, with exposure to process engineering projects such as Renewables, Energy, Petrochemical, Water, Oil & Gas (large industrial scale).

The role will involve:

1. Assisting in the development of technical requirements for projects through the development, design, and construction phases.
2. Participating in the project from planning, through construction and commissioning, to handover to the operations team.
3. Other responsibilities include:
   • Coordinating multiple construction-related activities such as planning designs, evaluating technical specifications, & preparing cost estimates.
   • Ensuring optimal utilization of labour, resources, materials, and equipment according to budgets and schedules.
   • Maintaining accurate documentation regarding design plans, specifications, cost projections, orders placed by vendors/subcontractors/field personnel.

Engineering Background

• Engineering qualification & background.
• Ideal candidates will have Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process engineering expertise.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project or process engineering roles.
• Experience with design, P&ID, layout, specification writing, and supplier management.
• Exposure to process engineering industries such as water, energy, petrochemicals, oil & gas.

Project Management Skills

• Ability to manage complex tasks within tight timelines while keeping stakeholders informed throughout each project lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills, including report writing—crafting concise reports and documents outside your direct expertise.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills.
