Job description

Our Client is passionate about Fresh Produce and successfully supplies a high standard of product to UK retailers. We now require an additional member of the procurement team on their behalf to join the business at an exciting time of growth.

The position of Procurement Administrator/Assistant is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, driven, and passionate individual to join a highly respected supplier to retail customers. With a desire to learn and achieve, the successful individual will become fundamental support in a fast-paced environment, contributing to and achieving the highest level of customer service and satisfaction from point of purchase.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Support across the procurement process, from supplier through to customer.
  2. Arrange transport as required, working with hauliers and in-house logistics.
  3. Manage arrivals data, ensuring accurate pricing, and generating reports.
  4. Create seasonal reviews & programmes for each variety and supplier.
  5. Support Managers within the team.
We require:
  1. Exposure to a FMCG environment, ideally within the Fresh Food/Fresh Produce sectors.
  2. A high level of organisation, accuracy, administration, and a personable & professional approach.
  3. Ability to work with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Strong IT skills; Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint with exposure to the IT system Prophet is essential.

Salary: £25-28k

Hours: This position will work as part of a team, working Monday to Friday.

Location: South East England / Kent

A full driving licence is essential.
