Your new company
I am working with a thriving manufacturing business based in Bolton who are now looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent and full-time basis. This business has recently expanded their offices due to the acquisition of a new business.
Your new role
As Accounts Assistant, you will report into the Finance Director and be responsible for supporting the team in the daily accounting tasks. Your role will involve processing up to 100 invoices per week, matching the invoices to the correct PO, generating sales invoices per week, and chasing any outstanding payments with existing customers. You will be assisting the team with month-end duties such as cashbook reconciliation, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role, you will be AAT qualified (or qualified by experience) and have worked in a similar role previously. Experience of working on SAP is desirable with the ability to use Excel to an intermediate level inclusive of vlookups.
