Food Safety & Quality Manager

Dungannon

SEDA Talent are recruiting a Food Safety & Quality Manager to join the team at a Multi-National FMCG business in Dungannon.

This is a fantastic role where you will assist the technical manager in ensuring that site technical requirements are met. Interacting with the technical and operations teams to drive standards and customer expectations forward.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of HACCP based Quality Management System, including recording, storing and retrieval of records to demonstrate product quality, consistency and due diligence using industry best practice, customer best practice, BRC, Third Party / Legislative requirements / recommendations.
  2. Ensure a structured approach to Continuous Improvement is in place across the Technical Department, ensuring that all teams use the appropriate company tools and techniques.
  3. Develop a culture where employee engagement and communication are promoted and actively delivered. Ensure direct reports (and their respective teams) use the key tools for improving Employee Engagement e.g. Weekly Team Briefs, Daily Huddles in an effective manner.
  4. Achieving KPI's and providing clear direction for improvement.

The Ideal Candidate
  1. Experience as a QA Manager in the food industry.
  2. Experience of managing and delivering KPI improvement.
  3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively lead a team and delegate instructions as and when required.
