Our client, a leader in the defence and security sector, is seeking a Senior Engineer - Weights for a 12-month contract. The role is based at one of their sites in Scotstoun, Filton, or Broadoak, with hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage weight impacts and change calculations
• Perform calculations, document assumptions and exclusions
• Collaborate with other teams to extract and collate data for change calculations
• Utilise information from BoM lists and CAD software
• Report to key stakeholders

Job Requirements

• Experience as a Weights Engineer
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and AutoCAD
• Experience with Foran is beneficial
• Experience in naval ships, aviation, or automotive sectors is acceptable
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Additional Information

• Hybrid work with 1-2 days on-site per week
