About The Opportunity

We are seeking three experienced and motivated Specialist Biomedical Scientists (Band 6, HCPC registered) in Histology, each of whom will take on a key leadership responsibility in one of the following areas:

• Quality Assurance
• Customer Services
• Training and Development

In addition to routine histology and immunohistochemistry, team members will be cross-trained across all three domains to ensure seamless cover and collaboration.

What Makes This Different?

As a new UK-based greenfield startup, there will be no clinical samples in the initial phase. Instead, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and launch of a next-generation laboratory equipped with cutting-edge digital and AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Reviewing and developing laboratory documentation
• Authoring SOPs and procedural guides
• Instrument and workflow validation and verification
• Contributing to the integration of digital pathology and AI applications
• Supporting the establishment of a robust quality management system

Additionally, successful candidates will participate in structured training abroad: 3-day monthly visits to a leading European partner site, with all travel and accommodation expenses covered.
