Job Description:

Station Systems Technician (Level 4) - United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and collaborate with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team working on complex, critical infrastructure projects that impact the nation's safety and connectivity.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between early shifts (6am-6pm) and late shifts (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Perform planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
  • Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
  • Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
  • Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completion
Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:
  • Background in CCTV, IP networking, or electrical work
  • Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
