“Find your role”

Within the Delivery Optimisation team you will support in finding ways to maximise the efficiency of our

online grocery delivery fleet through shift planning, territory management, delivery pricing and service

offering. During busy periods and some weekends you will also support the operations team.

  • Report on each store’s delivery capacity and utilisation to identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct competitor reviews to identify opportunities in our offering
  • Assess the potential impact of changes in each store’s territory
  • Predict the number of drivers needed in each shift to maximise efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to raise total revenue though delivery changes

Knowledge:

Sound technical, analytical and problem-solving abilities. Awareness of the wider eCommerce market and our competitors.

Communicating and influencing:

Ability to influence key stakeholders by developing logical and well-reasoned arguments. Ability to build strong working relationships across multiple functions. Strong written and communication skills.

Freedom to Think and Act:

You will be comfortable with ambiguity and will work collaboratively to develop innovative solutions to business problems.

Essential:

  • Data analysis experience
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong numerical reasoning skills
  • Ability to convey clear and concise recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication

Desirable:

  • eCommerce experience
  • SQL
  • Data Visualization – e.g. Power BI, Tableau
  • GIS or Geospatial data experience
