Now is the time to work for Warwickshire County Council; the first Council to deliver Biodiversity Net Gain and at the forefront of Natural Capital Investment to deliver Landscape Recovery.
The primary responsibility of the role will be to provide planning advice on county applications (such as mineral extraction) and District and Borough applications (including residential and commercial development) within our Planning team. Additionally, you will support the Natural Capital team in achieving the Council's goal of planting 566,000 trees by 2030, which equates to one tree for every resident of Warwickshire. Experience in applying for grants (e.g., Forestry Commission) and understanding carbon markets would be beneficial for this target.

We are looking for candidates who can integrate well with the existing team, bringing their current skills and an enthusiasm to expand their expertise.
