What you'll be doing:

We are seeking an experienced Planning & Reporting Controller to join our finance leadership team, reporting directly to the CFO for Ireland/Nordics and Finance Director for IWE UK. This is a strategic role that will lead finance systems, reporting, and analytics across our Ireland, Nordics, and Industrial Water and Energy businesses.

As a key member of the finance team, you will drive strategic planning and coordinate budgeting activities while serving as a finance partner to our Business Development and Technical Direction teams. You will be responsible for comprehensive management accounting, performance monitoring, and business case development across our operations.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience with financial systems including Workday, Adaptive Planning, Power BI, and Salesforce, along with strong commercial acumen. You will lead business line reporting initiatives, working to establish consistency across all levels while collaborating with transformation and analytics teams to drive continuous improvement.

This role offers the opportunity to influence and support business decision-making at the highest levels, regularly engaging with senior stakeholders including the COO, Technical Direction/PMO, Business Development, and Head Office Finance teams.

Some travel will be required for meetings and monthly reviews.


What we're looking for:

  • A self driven individual with experience of Business Partnering at a very senior level (up to CEO) in the organisation, and a broad grounding of finance professional experience
  • Reporting and Systems experience - in particular relating to development of system solutions.
  • The confidence to challenge and highlight discrepancies or deviations from policy
  • Significant post qualified experience- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience
  • Excellent customer service, ability to communicate effectively to all levels up to board members
  • Proven track record of implementing improvement projects.
