EY is seeking an experienced and ambitious consultant with a track record in a configuration role in Financial Consolidation in CCH Tagetik to join our Finance Business Consulting team.

You will be part of a growing and diverse team that combines business implementation, systems integration, and financial modelling capabilities working across the Financial Services market. This position demands a highly adaptable and flexible individual capable of navigating a diverse range of client issues, as the nature of the program's work is varied. The ideal candidate should be at ease assuming various delivery roles and tackling the associated challenges inherent to this role.

The opportunity

The Finance Business Consulting team is looking for a Senior Consultant with a delivery track record in Financial Consolidation implementations in CCH Tagetik who can leverage business and technology-based solutions to deliver outcomes for our clients.

Prior consulting experience is a preferred requirement or delivering on Finance Transformation programmes in the Financial Services Industry. An understanding of Financial Services Organisation’s Target Operating Model, Process & Controls, Organisation Design, Change Management, and Business Readiness is needed.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior consultant, you will be working alongside senior management in large scale CCH Tagetik implementations in the Financial Consolidation space. You will also support business and practice development of the Finance Business Consulting team. You will be a trusted business advisor to our clients with a Finance technology systems implementation background.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supporting the technical delivery of large and complex end-to-end CCH Tagetik Financial Consolidation implementation projects across the solution development lifecycle of the engagement including:
• Support the translation of clients technical and accounting requirements to CCH Tagetik functional and technical solution design.
• Configure components in CCH Tagetik.
• Support the documentation of the solution’s test strategy and draft test scenarios and technical testing scripts.
• Support end user training and the knowledge transfer of the solution to technical client teams.
• Support the deployment of the solution to production and provide post go-live support.
• Guide more junior team members.

Skills and attributes for success

The ideal candidates will possess knowledge of Finance Transformation with proven prior experience in a technical configuration role with CCH Tagetik implementation.

They must have excellent communication skills, a high level of commitment, the ability to handle pressure, and demonstrate leadership and problem-solving abilities in complex financial environments. Additionally, familiarity with Finance Technology applications, a commitment to quality delivery, and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel are essential, along with the capability to manage senior stakeholder relationships effectively.

To qualify for the role you must have some or all of the following:

• Experience of at least one end-to-end implementation of CCH Tagetik.
• Expertise with solution configuration of CCH Tagetik implementations preferably within the Financial Services sector.
• Exposure to Chart of Accounts & Data Model Design.
• Exposure to Tagetik ETL jobs configuration and Workflow configuration.
• Exposure to the EPM lifecycle including planning, budgeting and forecasting, enterprise-wide KPI & reporting framework, profitability/cost analysis and experience with other EPM technologies would be desirable.
