A leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking an Associate Architect to join their expanding Architectural team in Nottingham. The firm has recently opened a Nottingham office and provides construction and property consultancy across various industry sectors.

The role involves delivering architectural design services and project management across a broad spectrum of projects, including the internal management of the architectural team.

Key Responsibilities

• Bid for and generate work to support the financial management of the architectural team.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, with values ranging from £300k to £200m.
• Work primarily in the Defence sector, which will constitute most of your workload.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in Defence/Infrastructure sectors is desirable but not essential.
• RIBA Chartered Architect or CIAT Architectural Technologist with extensive industry experience.
• Proficiency in 3D Revit/AutoCAD, with the ability to start drawings from scratch.
• Experience with BIM using Revit.
• Networking and client-facing experience.
• Business development skills are advantageous.
• Thorough knowledge of Building Regulations.
• Understanding of the NBS specification system.
• Experience in drafting proposals and financial management.
