Job Title: Groundworker Handyman Estate Maintenance

Location: Central London

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Groundworker / Handyperson to join an Estate Maintenance Team at a prestigious London landmark. This role will support the Supervisor and wider team in delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance across the estate's properties and grounds. If you have a strong background in general building, groundworks, and hard landscaping, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dedicated team that takes pride in maintaining a prestigious estate.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out general property repairs, including decorating and fabric maintenance.
  2. Undertake paving repairs, light groundworks, and upkeep of cobbled and kerbed areas.
  3. Maintain roofs, gutters, and hopper heads, ensuring proper drainage and functionality.
  4. Work safely at height using scaffolding and towers when necessary.
  5. Apply knowledge of Listed Buildings and conservation techniques (desirable but not essential).
  6. Provide a high standard of workmanship in a customer-facing environment.
  7. Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
  8. Collaborate with the Work Scheduling Team to ensure efficiency and meet KPIs.
  9. Represent the Maintenance Team in projects and meetings as required.

Note: A Driving Licence IS ESSENTIAL.

  • Proven experience in building, groundworks, and hard landscaping.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of health & safety requirements.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A proactive and positive approach to work.
