Role Summary

As the Transformation Communications Manager, you will support the Transformation Communications and Change Lead with planning and execution of transformation communications. This challenging role involves day-to-day liaison with KDN Leaders. All outputs and outcomes must be of the highest standard. The successful candidate will need to display exceptional communication and influencing skills, as well as a keen sense of business acumen and professional judgment. Partnering with KDN team members, you will identify creative and effective ways to communicate with various KPMG audiences. This role involves creating and delivering communication plans, stakeholder maps, and seamless integration with project teams and change management. You will help shape communications to drive change adoption and efficiency, minimize disruptions, and optimize outcomes during transitions. Additionally, you will provide SME guidance to project managers and teams while managing stakeholder relationships and change throughout the transition.

How you will make your mark

  • Work closely with the Transformation Communications and Change Lead to develop and execute project and programme communication plans
  • Present KPMG and KDN change strategy, reports, and findings to senior stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication, impact skills, and commercial understanding
  • Collaborate with all KDN functions to ensure a joined-up and integrated approach to communications
  • Champion the use of innovative communication methods with stakeholders and staff
  • Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, adjusting based on priorities and new initiatives
  • Flexibility to work challenging hours to accommodate a global team’s schedule (early mornings/evenings, considering different time zones)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Finance, Operations, and Legal, as well as Global Delivery Centres
  • Manage multiple projects or programs, independently or as part of a team
  • Implement best practices in transformation communications consistently
  • Work with business and project teams to support communication strategies during transitions
  • Chart timelines, milestones, and deliverables to track progress
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure alignment and minimize operational disruptions

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Communicate and manage expectations effectively to ensure understanding and buy-in
  • Act as the primary contact for project communication activities for internal and external stakeholders during transitions
  • Maintain open communication lines and provide regular updates
  • Gather feedback and address concerns to ensure stakeholder satisfaction

  • A Bachelor’s degree in communications, relevant professional qualification, and relevant industry experience
  • Significant internal communications experience
  • Support experience for major projects/programs
  • Proven knowledge of implementing communication and change management programs
  • Strong influencing and communication skills for professional, calm, persuasive dealings with internal stakeholders
  • Proven project management skills with ability to gain support from diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with ability to translate business objectives into technical and functional requirements
  • Experience in writing/editing communications for broad audiences, including leadership
  • Ability to explain updates clearly across multiple levels, functions, and countries
  • Ability to create, engage, and maintain a professional network to achieve goals
  • Enjoy working as part of a team

  • Willingness to work flexible hours across time zones
