Job Purpose

As an Endpoint Security Engineer, you'll manage and enhance security for desktops, laptops, servers, and field devices in the enterprise and other critical infrastructures. Key responsibilities include the following:

What you'll do

  • Implement and manage endpoint protection solutions across IT and OT environments (e.g., EDR, Antivirus, Device Control, Application Control, Host-Based Firewall).
  • Harden endpoints and enforce secure baselines for Windows, Linux, and mobile devices.
  • Develop and maintain endpoint security policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Provide expertise during incident response, root cause analysis, and recovery for endpoint compromises.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to evaluate, test, and implement new endpoint security features, deploy new tools/perform version upgrades.
  • Maintain management servers, perform daily health checks, apply updates, and ensure system integrity and performance.


About you

  • Strong experience in endpoint security, especially in critical infrastructure
  • Proficiency with endpoint security platforms such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne, Trellix, or other any other EDR products.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools and Frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK)
  • Familiarity with NERC CIP, CIS Benchmarks, NIST SP 800-82, or similar standards.
  • Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Understanding of energy/utility sector cyber threats.
  • Experience in regulated environments with compliance-driven security programs.


What you'll get

A competitive salary between £50,000 - £60,000 dependent on capability

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
