Job description

An exciting opportunity for a Principal Procurement Consultant working in the healthcare industry, with a focus on Procurement & Supply Chain Management.

Description

  1. Leading and project managing client delivery savings projects.
  2. Supporting cost reduction opportunity assessments.
  3. Delivering outcomes for clients across the Procurement lifecycle.
  4. Producing project updates and reporting dashboards.
  5. Developing effective and delighted relationships with clients.
  6. Inputting to the development of the organisation including enhancement of internal methodologies and operations.

Profile

  1. Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, ideally with experience across multiple indirect categories.
  2. Extensive Property/FM category knowledge is desired.
  3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
  4. Experience of working in public sector regulations is an additional benefit.
  5. Background of personally delivering actual saving outcomes across multiple spend areas.
  6. Exceptional negotiation skills and a knack for building strong relationships with suppliers.
  7. A thorough understanding of healthcare industry regulations and standards.
  8. MCIPS or working towards MCIPS qualification.

Job Offer

  1. An estimated salary range of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.
  2. 25 days annual leave.
  3. Hybrid working with one day per week (Tuesdays) on site for team meetings near Paddington.
