Job description

Park Agencies is a leading designer and developer of licensed merchandise and apparel. Since 2005 PA has developed and maintained close relationships with essential buyers, brand developers, and retail groups throughout UK, Europe and USA.

We have two offices in the UK - Brighton/Manchester, have recently relocated administrative functions to Brighton (in the North Lanes) and are looking for an Approvals Coordinator to join the PA team and help drive the business forward.

Duties include:-

  • Taking responsibility for the product approvals process (from design concept through to delivery in store) with own portfolio of licenses as a key member of the approvals team.
  • Processing product samples as they arrive at the office in a timely manner, maintaining up to date product imagery and inventory of samples.
  • Pro-actively monitor and chase pre-production and production approvals to ensure that all products progress smoothly through each approval stage to meet critical launch dates.
  • Collaborating with designers to communicate design amends and feedback from licensors.
  • Uploading product information onto multiple licence and logistics extranets in an accurate and timely manner, in accordance with each licensor’s specific requirements.
  • Helping to maintain and update the PA tracker with the product status and approvals information.
  • Maintaining and cultivating good relationships with Licensors and partners, working closely with them on product development and launches.
  • Working closely with internal sales managers and providing support across a range of activities from initial design, sales and approvals ensuring that key milestones are met.
  • Maintaining lists of selections across allocated Licensors using available software.
  • Co-ordinating sales updates/reports for Licensors across an individual portfolio of Licences.

Requirements:-

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with business processes and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent excel and data entry skills.
  • Must have an interest in fashion, perhaps a related degree or good academic degree.
  • Familiarity with licensing is desirable but not essential.
