Job Description:

We are looking for an International Innovation Manager with strong strategic problem-solving skills, significant technology knowledge, and understanding of the challenges of technology innovation and commercialization to join an organization at the forefront of creating a low-carbon economy.

The Role:

  • Work with key stakeholders to establish major projects overseas, focusing on relationship building, strategy planning, forecasting, budgeting, delivery, and reporting.
  • Define and deliver specific project objectives, addressing barriers to deploying and commercializing low-carbon technologies.
  • Communicate outcomes of detailed analyses effectively, with excellent communication and influencing skills, in a complex environment.

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering or a scientific discipline (minimum 2.1)
  • Professional award (Chartered status) and postgraduate management qualification preferred
  • Experience in technology development/management in a technology or engineering-related business or consultancy
  • Experience in electricity, oil/gas, or transport sectors, preferably with low-carbon technologies
  • Exposure to senior management and strategic decision-making, either in consultancy or corporate strategy roles
  • International living and working experience
