Do you have a passion for farming and enjoy working in an educational setting? Join Brymore Academy as a Farm Technician and play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our thriving school farm.

Hours - Full time

Salary - GBP25k

About the Role:

As Farm Technician, you ll:

  • Care of animals, including daily checks, feeding, grooming, show preparation, bedding up, and assisting with breeding and lambing.
  • Maintain farm equipment and structures, performing minor repairs and ensuring safety.
  • Support students during practical lessons and prepare resources for their agricultural education.
  • Work on a rota system to cover farm duties throughout term time, weekends, and holidays.
  • Contribute to events such as Open Days, Lambing Days, and community shows, ensuring the farm is a welcoming and engaging environment.

What We re Looking For:

  • Practical experience in livestock care and farm operations.
    Strong maintenance and organisational skills.
  • A passion for working with young people and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Agricultural qualifications (Level 2 or higher) and a full UK car licence, for tractor driving and checking of stock is essential.
