An established industry player is seeking a self-employed welder/fabricator to join their friendly team in Woodhall Spa. This part-time role offers flexibility, allowing you to work 16-24 hours a week, primarily focused on MIG welding and fabrication of high-quality motorsport products. You will be responsible for assembling roll cages and ensuring quality standards are met while working independently. If you are self-motivated and reliable, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dedicated team producing custom components in a small workshop environment.

We're Hiring – Self-Employed Welder/Fabricator (Part-Time)

Based in Woodhall Spa | £16 per hour | 16–24 hours/week (flexible)

JP Cages is on the lookout for a skilledself-employed welder/fabricatorto join our small, friendly team 2–3 days a week.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assembling and welding our made-to-order roll cages and similar motorsport products
• Primarily JIG work using MIG welding
• Maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency while working independently

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in MIG welding
• Ability to work from jigs and follow fabrication processes
• Self-motivated and reliable, with attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a small workshop environment

We’re a small team producing high-quality rollover protection systems and custom components for the motorsport industry. Due to our current contractor relocating, we’re looking for a reliable replacement.

Flexible working days | 16–24 hours a week (with occasional overtime)
£16 per hour (self-employed basis)
