Job Description

Ensure security and access control in a busy warehousing environment by managing visitors, contractors, and haulage drivers according to company policy.

• Enhance security of the company, site, resources, and personnel.
• Electronically record entry and departure of vehicles and loads in the main truck yard.
• Conduct exit security checks.
• Liaise with warehouse staff and shunter drivers for load movements.
• Brief drivers on site behavior and standards.
• Understand fire procedures and actions during alarms.
• Monitor fridge temperatures and report faults.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to incidents.
• Coordinate with emergency services and external agencies during incidents.
• Perform random searches of staff vehicles and baggage.
• Conduct routine internal and external site patrols to provide security presence.
• Act as a visual deterrent against criminal activity.
• Report incidents and occurrences through the chain of command.

Shift & Salary

Shift: 4 days on, 4 days off.

Salary: £26,944 per annum.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA license.
• Smart, polite, and courteous personality.
