Lead Shift Engineer - Electrical Bias

Location: London - Chelsea

Salary: £47,454 per annum

Shifts: 4 on 4 off - Days only (7am - 7pm)

Brief

Lead Engineer needed for a well-known facilities management organisation based in Chelsea who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Lead Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge and interest of mechanical and electrical engineering. If you have experience working in hospitals or come from a life science background that would be a plus!

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Lead Engineer will include:

1. To supervise and monitor sub-contractors while on site and to confirm works completed are as agreed.
2. To produce shift report detailing any significant works carried out or works that could potentially have a significant impact on the operations on site.
3. Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
4. Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to always maintain plant in serviceable order.

What experience you need to be the successful Lead Engineer:

1. Looking for someone with a Mechanical and Engineering background.
2. Ideally someone with leading experience.
3. 17th / 18th Edition.
4. 2391 - Bonus.
5. ECS / JIB / CSCS - Bonus.
6. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
7. Experience using a CAFM system.
8. Good experience and track record in working in Facilities Management.
9. Good knowledge of building services and legislation.
