Interviewing Now - Teaching Assistant - Oxted

Location: Oxted, Surrey

Salary: £85 - £100 per day

Hours: 8:30 - 3:15 (Full-time)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have the dedication and skills to support their educational journey? We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to join this dynamic team at a mainstream Secondary School in Oxted.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
• Work closely with classroom teachers to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of learning materials and activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young adults with SEN.
• A compassionate and patient approach to working with students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable but not essential).
