Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts who value their impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical work to support the nation's infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attending maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining SISS assets and reporting faults
  • Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
  • Liaising with Telent Service Centre for tasks

Ideal candidates:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning, especially those with experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Knowledge of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
