Type

Permanent 21.92 Hour post – Fixed Shift pattern in place, including evenings and weekends. Please review shift patterns below; we operate a summer rota from April to September and a winter rota from October to March. Suitable candidates must be available to work the specified shift pattern.

Position Overview

An opportunity has arisen within Sefton Council for a part-time leisure attendant based at Bootle Leisure Centre. The role requires a fully qualified NPLQ lifeguard to work as part of a team, ensuring customer safety and maintaining high standards of service and customer care. The role involves constant supervision of the poolside, requiring focus, vigilance, and attentiveness. Additional responsibilities include setting up equipment for programmed activities and undertaking cleaning tasks to ensure the centre is well presented. The candidate should have a friendly and approachable manner to uphold excellent customer service standards.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must hold a current Royal Lifesaving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ). A First Aid at Work qualification, AED certification, and pool plant operator’s certificate are desirable.
