NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to over 1.15 million people, expanding to 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
This is a fixed-term/secondment, part-time position of 22.2 hours per week for 12 months, with a pro-rata salary. The shift pattern is 3 days over 7.
We offer a secondment opportunity within Renfrewshire HSCP to join our community treatment & care team as a co-ordinator for 3 days a week over 12 months. The role involves supporting and managing local treatment rooms and phlebotomy services, including coordinating treatments, clinics, and staff within a specific geographical area.
The ideal candidate is an experienced 1st level registered nurse with evidence of ongoing professional development, leadership, and management skills. Experience in primary care, community, or clinic settings is advantageous. The post holder will operate as an autonomous practitioner, demonstrating in-depth knowledge, expertise, and experience in leading community treatment & care clinics nursing teams.
The position is based at Renfrew Heath and Social Work Centre, with reciprocal coverage and flexible working to support the wider primary care service.
A current, clean full driving license is required.
