Careers and Enterprise Adviser

Ref: 2425/148

Hours: 37 hours per week, for 40 weeks per year

Salary: £26,931 to £28,705 per annum. Plus benefits, including a generous Occupational Pension Scheme

About the role
In this dynamic role, you’ll provide high-quality personal guidance, coordinate group CEIAG activities, and play a key role in delivering careers events, industry placements and employer engagement.

You’ll work closely with curriculum teams, the Progress Team, and external partners to enhance the employability and personal development of our students and apprentices.

The role includes supporting work experience processes, developing employer links, and contributing to the wider implementation of the Gatsby Benchmarks, National Careers Strategy and other quality standards across the College.

About the person
The ideal candidate will bring significant experience working with students in an educational setting and a strong understanding of CEIAG frameworks. You’ll be an effective communicator, team player and organiser, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of internal teams and external stakeholders. A Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development is desirable, or a willingness to work towards it. You’ll be confident using IT systems, familiar with local labour market information, and enthusiastic about supporting young people through every step of their career journey. A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and continuous professional development is essential.
