An established industry player is looking for a dedicated practitioner to join their Family Support Service. This role is pivotal in enhancing the lives of children and families, particularly those who have faced trauma. Falkirk Council is seeking to recruit an individual for the Family Support Service who is a highly skilled practitioner, committed to delivering the very best experiences for our children and families.
This role involves working within the Family Support Team. The successful candidate will receive regular support and supervision, along with development opportunities to grow and enhance their practice.
The support provided will focus on building on the existing strengths of children and families involved. You will encounter children and families who have experienced trauma and disadvantage, and they have the right to be safe, nurtured, listened to, respected, and included.
You must be able to be mobile across the council area. Falkirk Council offers a hybrid working arrangement of home and office. The council is also open to flexible working options, including compressed hours, to promote a healthy work/life balance.

Applicants who progress to the next stage will be invited for an interview scheduled for Friday, 23rd May, or Monday, 26th May. Interviews will be held at the Leaving Care offices in Falkirk.
The role involves working 37 hours per week.
Applicants working with children or vulnerable adults will be subject to disclosure checks or the new PVG scheme.
