The Resolution Planning Analyst is a key contributor to Citi’s Resolution Plan, which details how Citi would be resolved in the event of its failure. The Resolution Planning Analyst is an experienced professional in financial and operational analysis and is expected to produce detailed analyses, written documentation, and management presentations and regulatory submission documents to regulators. The Resolution Planning Analyst is a strategic partner of the team who stays abreast of developments within the regulatory environment and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own role.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
• Understand and interpret rule and regulatory requirements related to Recovery and Resolution
• Write comprehensive content based on rule and regulatory requirements for Recovery and Resolution submissions
• Develop project plan objectives, establish realistic timelines, and identify SMEs to execute all regulatory resolution plan requirements
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of resolution and recovery plans to support and influence cross-functional teams and management
• Prepare analyses, reports, presentations, and other communications for senior management, working independently or collaboratively
• Perform monthly runbook processing and validation activities, aligning with the Central RRP team
• Retrieve and analyze large data sets from Citi systems using MS Excel and other tools
• Act as program manager when needed; hold meetings, understand scopes, and take notes
• Manage activities related to system enhancement projects, including writing business requirements, data analysis, UAT, and change implementation
• Communicate effectively with senior and executive management
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Third Party oversight, risk, and/or relationship management; knowledge of Citi operations
• Project management, expectations management, and relationship skills
• Familiarity with regulatory environment concerning Third Party risk management
• Advanced skills in project management, data analysis, and reporting; understanding supporting technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred
