Calling all night owls! If you're looking to start a new night shift job with satisfaction that you'd struggle to find anywhere else, you're in luck as we're looking for new female colleagues to join our amazing #TeamParkvale in Longside on a part-time (20 hours per week) basis!
This role involves working two waking night shifts per week between 21:30 and 07:30 hours, including weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis. Night shifts are paid at the standard hourly rate plus an additional £20 per night.
While the primary focus is on waking night shifts, flexibility to attend training and support individuals during the day is required, so occasional day shifts may be part of your rota.
Your responsibilities include providing support during the night to five individuals with physical and learning disabilities. The role mainly involves lone working, with support from the wider team when needed.
Your main goal is to ensure the individuals have access to support and assistance if needed. Additional tasks include maintaining cleanliness, ironing, health & safety checks, managing finances, and administrative duties.
No experience is necessary; we recruit based on values and will provide all required training. We also fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees. However, a driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential due to the rural location of our service.
Shift patterns are between 07:00 and 21:30 hours. Sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays are included in the rota on a rotational basis. Sleepovers are not part of contracted hours but earn an additional £96 per sleepover.
Apply today! We are eager to fill these vacancies quickly and may close the application early if suitable candidates are found. Early application is encouraged.
