Role Purpose
PIC is seeking a PMO Delivery Specialist to collaborate with Portfolio and Project Managers within Operations. The role involves supporting project delivery, ensuring efficiency and success in change initiatives, and working closely with the Portfolio Manager and Project Managers embedded in the Operations capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with a Portfolio Manager to ensure the secure delivery of projects, analyzing information for decision-making and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Transformation Office (STO), reporting on projects and informing portfolio analysis.
- Serve as an SME for change processes, templates, and frameworks, advising delivery teams on governance and controls.
- Analyze project and program reports to develop portfolio views and recommendations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Change function, developing better processes based on experience.
- Implement processes, including training and communication plans.
- Assist in producing high-quality steering committee papers, organizing meetings, and updating the STO on discussions.
Requirements
Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities
Experience supporting and assuring programs within a financial services environment, ideally with knowledge of PRA and FCA regulators.
Technical Skills
- Understanding of various portfolio management methodologies including waterfall, agile, and hybrid models in an Operations setting.
- Knowledge of enterprise and delivery PMO best practices.
- Experience with PPM tools, preferably ServiceNow.
- Experience in creating and implementing new processes, including training and communication materials.
